UHAA honored the Class of 1960 at the Golden Scholars Reunion on Oct. 29 as part of UH Mānoa Homecoming Week 2010. Participants received special medallions to commemorate the honor at a reception at Sinclair Library on the UH Mānoa campus. The Golden Scholars group then saw a special screening of the Academy for Creative Media's "State of Aloha" documentary, which was introduced by producer/director Anne Misawa. Next, the group took a tour of Ka Papa Lo'i 'o Kanewai at the Hawai'inuiākea Center for Hawaiian Studies. They stopped by the Homecoming Fair on Bachman Lawn, before cheering the Wahine Volleyball team to victory over Boise State at Stan Sheriff Center.
