UHAA Welcomes Colorado Chapter
UHAA is in the process of forming a Colorado chapter to serve more than 1,000 alumni living in the state. "Denver has a large number of former Hawai'i residents in addition to UH alumni," said Lauri Harrison, founder of the UHAA Colorado Chapter. "There's a great opportunity to build and maintain alumni o'hana relationships and foster the spirit of Hawai'i right here in the Front Range. I look forward to building connections for alumni in Colorado and surrounding states."
The mission for the Colorado Chapter will be to provide support for the University of Hawai'i in areas of student recruitment, promotion of the UH image and international reputation, UH athletic teams competing in Colorado, mentorship for students and alumni that relocate to Colorado, and UH's overall mission.
The UHAA Colorado Chapter is looking for volunteers and those interested in joining the Board of Directors.
