Campaniano is on the Board of numerous organizations including UH Foundation, Aloha United Way, Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, Public Schools of Hawai'i Foundation and the Filipino Community Center. He served as a member of the University of Hawai'i Board of Regents, past president of the UH Alumni Association, and chair of the UH Athletic Advisory Board. He was elected chair of the Hawaii Business Roundtable. He received his BA and MBA from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 1973 and 1983, respectively.",

He is a longtime supporter of UH and is a member of the Founders Club, which honors outstanding alumni and friends who have made extraordinary contributions to the university.  He is a founding member of the College of Engineering's Advisory Board which works to improve engineering programs to meet the industry's ever-changing demands.  Ho also established the Ronald N.S. Ho General Aid Endowment to support electrical engineering students at UH.  He serves as chair of the UH Foundation's Board of Trustees.  Ho graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa with a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering in 1967 and 1968, respectively.",
	"(UH Distinguished Alumni Award)  Inouye is Hawai'i's senior U.S. senator and one of the nation's most distinguished and longest-serving senators.  He is the recipient of a Distinguished Service Cross and 14 other medals and citations.  Senator Inouye will soon receive the Congressional Medal of Honor, the nation's highest award for military valor.  He served in Hawai'i's territorial government and was elected as the first U.S. congressman from the State of Hawai'i in 1959  In that landmark election, Inouye became the first American of Japanese ancestry to be elected to the Congressional House and the Senate.  He is a staunch supporter of the University of Hawai'i through his personal and congressional efforts.  Senator Inouye received a BA in Economics from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 1950.",
	"(UH Distinguished Alumni Award)  Keala, Chief of Police from 1969-1983, provided strong leadership that gave Hawai'i a sense of security during the explosive population and economic growth of the 1960s and 1970s.  During his term, he initiated several of the city's most successful anti-crime programs - Crime Stoppers and the Neighborhood Watch program.  Keala is a stalwart supporter of the University as his contributions range from promoting the University's academic qualities to participating in fundraising efforts.  Together with his wife, Betty Ann, he has made significant donations to UH and served as host for numerous activities that have helped the University build bridges to a number of sectors within Hawai'i's communities.  Keala is the Director of the Saint Francis Medical Center West, president of the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame, and former trustee of the Kamehameha Schools.  He received a BA in Sociology from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 1953.",
	"(UH Distinguished Alumni Award)  Dr. Samuelson is one of the nation's leading experts on copyright laws.  She has received several accolades including being named one of the nation's 50 most influential lawyers, one of the 100 most influential people in the digital age, and one of the 25 most intriguing minds of the new economy.  In 1997, Dr. Samuelson was honored with the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation fellowship, commonly known as the 'genius grant,' for her cutting-edge contributions in the field of computer and cyberspace law.  She previously served as an advisor to Governor Benjamin Cayetano and the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism for the development of high-tech industries in Hawai'i.  She is a professor at the University of California at Berkeley with appointments at the School of Law and School of Information and Management Systems.  She is also a former visiting professor at UH's William S. Richardson School of Law. Samuelson received a BA in History in 1971 and a MA in Political Science in 1972 from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.  She received a JD from Yale in 1976.",
	"(UH Founders Alumni Association Lifetime Achievement Award)  Brandt is one of Hawai'i's most distinguished kupuna. She has been an educator and administrator for over 40 years, and was the only female high school principal in the Territory and State of Hawai'i from 1945-1961. In 1962, Brandt became district superintendent of Kaua'i's public schools. The following year, she served as principal for the Kamehameha School for Girls. During her tenure, she played a major role in consolidating the boys' and girls' schools into a coeducational institution and became director of the high school division. From 1983-1989, Brandt was a member of the University of Hawai'i's Board of Regents where she served as chairperson for four of those years. She also served as a trustee of the UH Foundation and is a Lifetime President's Club member.
